I have suffered from neck and lower back pain for over 20 years. Over that time, I tried treatments from various osteopaths, neurologists, and chiropractors, which helped alleviate the symptoms. About a year ago my condition became much worse and the treatments I had tried in the past such as chiropractic stopped working. Dr. Drakes and Ernie who runs the physical therapy department helped me ease the severe pain through their outstanding integrated treatment program. I highly recommend trying the DRX machine, which greatly reduced the back and neck pain I was experiencing almost immediately after I started with it. What was surprising was that my upper back pain was reduced as well by the treatments on my lower back. After talking to Ernie, I understood that my upper back and neck muscles were being used to compensate and take the pressure off my lower back, and since my lower back had improved greatly, so now the pressure was off of those muscles. I am so glad that I found Dr. Drakes and Ernie because they are the only ones I found in the Washington DC area that provide a program that offers outstanding results, flexibility, and affordability.
